Influential fashion industry publication The Business of Fashion has just released

the ‘BoF500’ – a list of 500 fashion figures currently shaping the global fashion industry. The list includes designers, retailers, models and muses, executives, media and behind-the-scenes catalysts.

Karen Walker has been included as one of the 118 most influential designers alongside industry icons such as Alber Elbaz, Christopher Bailey, Giorgio Armani, Dries van Noten, Tom Ford, Hedi Slimane, Marc Jacobs, Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Miuccia Prada, Pheobe Philo and Raf Simons.

Karen Walker is the sole New Zealand designer to be included, and is one of only two designers from Australasia.
